Car seat shampooing for fabric that needs deeper care

Spills and ground-in dirt can leave cloth seats looking tired even after vacuuming. Give suitable fabric upholstery focused attention with our Seat Shampooing add-on.

When a vacuumed seat still looks dirty

Crumbs in the seams and a spill absorbed into cloth are two different cleaning jobs. Vacuuming lifts loose debris; shampooing addresses soil held in suitable fabric when a routine surface clean leaves more to tackle.

Choose this extra for seating affected by everyday buildup, food or drink marks, or uneven-looking fabric. It is a focused treatment for the upholstery rather than a repair for worn cushions, torn fabric or faded dye.

Removing visible debris is useful preparation; it does not establish that the upholstery has been shampooed.

What the $69 add-on means for your booking

Seat Shampooing is a $69 optional extra. Your selected detailing package and any other add-ons are additional; the $69 price is not the cost of a complete interior detail.

We focus on suitable seat fabric, loosening and removing accumulated soil while controlling the moisture used. The material, existing condition and nature of the marks guide the cleaning approach.

Included conditioning is different from shampooing. Standard package upholstery cleaning is basic care without shampoo; the listed seat cleaning and conditioning do not include this additional treatment.

For broader cabin care, start with Interior Detailing from $179. If the bodywork also needs attention, Full Interior & Exterior Detailing from $219 combines the two areas, with shampooing added separately.

Cloth seats and leather need different care

Fabric shampooing suits compatible cloth upholstery. Leather, leatherette and specialty finishes need cleaning matched to their own care instructions; a cloth-seat treatment should not be applied automatically to every surface.

Heated or ventilated seats also require attention to the vehicle's cleaning guidance, openings and built-in components. The right method depends on the seat construction as well as the covering.

Will every seat stain disappear?

Some marks improve substantially with suitable cleaning, while established discoloration, dye transfer or damaged fibers may remain. A cleaner seat and a completely restored seat are different outcomes.

Coffee, food and water marks can look similar but behave differently, depending on what reached the fabric and how long it has been there. Repeatedly soaking or aggressively scrubbing a stubborn patch is not a reliable route to a better result.

Use photographs to assess visible appearance; they cannot show every stain's history or moisture beneath the fabric.

Plan around dry seats, not just a finished appointment

The end of cleaning does not always mean the upholstery is ready to sit on. Drying depends on the moisture remaining, fabric and padding, temperature, humidity and airflow, so a fixed drying time would be misleading.

Allow the treated seats to dry fully before use, and avoid covering damp fabric. Keep this drying period separate from your package's listed service duration when planning the rest of your day.

Choose extras for the other affected areas

Our complete detailing add-ons menu helps you compare the other available treatments without assuming every extra is included in a package.
